Camp Coconut is more than just a farm — it's a place where ideas come to life. Founded by Maren (from Germany) and Mithra (from Sri Lanka), our small-scale sustainable farm is nestled in the lush south of Sri Lanka, between the popular beach towns of Mirissa and Matara.
We are a nonprofit organization striving to become a sustainable model farm in the tropical developing nation of Sri Lanka. Our 2-hectare farm demonstrates that sustainable living is not only possible but also beautiful and rewarding.
What was once a daycare facility from 2004–2010 has been transformed during the COVID-19 lockdown into a thriving sustainable farm that welcomes guests, volunteers, and visitors from around the world.
